     In the 1800's, there were no televisions, radios or anything electronic to keep people occupied. Instead, there was music, plays, dances, activities, sports and so much more.


     One popular place for entertainment in the 1800s (especially in Britain) was a tavern. These had provided musical entertainment for people since medieval times!
